Global Leadership Academy Schools (GLA), is a Kindergarten through eighth-grade school with two wonderful small learning communities located in West and Southwest Philadelphia. We have 1300 scholars who attend our schools and over 200 teachers and staff. GLA is a holistic teaching and learning environment. Our goal is to provide a solid educational program through global studies and leadership in an effort to develop future leaders of the world.

GLA students are referred to as scholars to convey high expectations for the aptitude of study. The international and expeditionary-based components of the school's highly successful academic curriculum have earned Global Leadership Academy a reputation for transforming the lives of its scholars. As such, it has become one of the most sought-after public charter schools in the School District of Philadelphia.

Our school offers its student scholars a pathway to success and opportunities to experience the world beyond their neighborhood through educational travel to local, state, national, and international historic and cultural sites through our Global Expeditions Program. GLA provides a world-class education for our students, but we need your support in order to continue to do so.

This #GivingTuesday, we are raising money to continue our Global Expeditions Program and your contribution will help ensure we reach our goal to have our scholars think globally but act locally - through volunteerism and service to the community.
